Update on this post.... My husband passed away peacefully on the 3rd June 2018 after a sudden, short bout of pneumonia, which came like a bolt from the blue and left many who were close to him, devastated. We had started to see him as indestructible, so the shock was enormous. It was the first time he had been sick in over 11 years with MND.
